KEEPERsport Grip Glue is a grip activator specially developed to improve goalkeeper glove performance in dry conditions, hot weather, on artificial turf and hard playing surfaces.
When there is little or no moisture, the ball and glove latex create less natural tackiness. This is especially noticeable during summer matches, on dry artificial turf, dusty pitches and hard surfaces. Grip Glue has been created specifically to fill this gap.
Developed in collaboration with Glove Glu, a specialist in goalkeeper glove grip technology, it helps activate latex tackiness when playing conditions limit the glove's natural performance.
☀️ GRIP GLUE = GRIP FOR DRY CONDITIONS
Apply it to dry latex 5 to 10 minutes before the match for optimal performance.
A lot of attention is given to grip loss in the rain, but heat and lack of moisture can also affect goalkeeper glove performance.
A dry ball on completely dry latex can create less natural tackiness, especially on artificial or hard playing surfaces.
KEEPERsport Grip Glue is specifically designed to improve grip in these situations.
Grip Glue does not necessarily need to be part of your routine for every match. It is designed to be used when playing conditions really require it.
If conditions are wet or rainy, Grip Glue is not the ideal solution. For these situations, the specific product within the KEEPERsport Care System is Aqua Glue.
1. Make sure the palm is dry
Grip Glue is mainly designed to work on dry latex and in playing conditions with little or no moisture.
2. Apply a thin layer
Spray a small amount over the gripping area of the palm. There is no need to soak the glove.
3. Wait 5 to 10 minutes
For best results, apply it before the final warm-up or a few minutes before kick-off.
4. Wash your gloves after playing
After the match or training session, clean the latex properly to prevent product, dust and dirt from building up.
IMPORTANT: using more product does not mean more grip. An excessively thick layer can reduce your feel for the ball and may encourage product build-up on the latex surface.
KEEPERsport Grip Glue is not a generic tackiness spray. It has been developed specifically with goalkeeper glove latex and real match conditions in mind.
| KEEPERsport Grip Glue | Conventional grip sprays |
|---|---|
| ✅ Specifically developed for goalkeeper glove latex | ❌ Usually generic grip products |
| ✅ Designed to provide consistent grip throughout the match | ❌ Their effect may wear off more quickly |
| ✅ Formula designed for dry conditions and hard surfaces | ❌ Not necessarily formulated for goalkeeper-specific needs |
| ✅ Developed in collaboration with Glove Glu | ❌ Generic formulas developed for different sporting uses |
| ✅ Part of the KEEPERsport Care System | ❌ Not part of a dedicated goalkeeper glove care system |
With Grip Glue, a thin layer is all you need.
Applying too much product does not increase performance. On the contrary, it may affect your feel for the ball and encourage residue to build up on the latex surface.
Spray a small amount evenly and allow the product to activate for approximately 5–10 minutes before playing.
Grip Glue completes the KEEPERsport system designed to adapt goalkeeper glove care and performance to different playing conditions:
MORE GRIP WHEN CONDITIONS ARE DRY
Grip Glue helps restore latex tackiness when heat, artificial turf and lack of moisture reduce its natural grip.
Can Grip Glue be used with any goalkeeper glove?
It has been developed for use with different types of latex commonly used in goalkeeper gloves.
When should I apply it?
For best results, apply it 5 to 10 minutes before kick-off so the formula has enough time to fully activate.
Can I use it when it is raining?
Grip Glue is specifically designed for dry conditions. For rain and wet weather, we recommend KEEPERsport Aqua Glue.
Should I use it for every match?
No. It is best used according to the conditions: hot weather, dry artificial turf, hard playing surfaces or whenever you notice a reduction in the glove's natural grip.
How much product should I apply?
A thin layer is enough. Applying too much product does not necessarily provide more grip.
Should I wash my gloves afterwards?
Yes. We recommend properly cleaning the latex after the match to remove product residue, dust and dirt.
