Our story

We weren't born in an office.
We were born between the posts.

Elitekeepers is a Spanish brand born in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, from the real experience of people who have spent their lives around goalkeeping. Since 2009, we have worked with one simple idea: to offer goalkeepers quality equipment, developed from real knowledge of the position and at a fair price.

From childhood to professional football

Goalkeeping was part of our lives long before Elitekeepers existed.

Daniel Miguélez started like so many other children: wanting to put on a pair of gloves and stand between the posts. Over the years, that passion took him all the way to professional football.

Experiencing goalkeeping from the inside means understanding what a goalkeeper demands from their gloves: grip, fit, feel, confidence and durability.

That experience is part of the way we understand Elitekeepers today. To us, a goalkeeper glove is not simply another piece of equipment. It is one of the most important tools a goalkeeper has.

We know what it means to stand between the posts because we have been there too.
The beginning

Manuel Flores: turning a real problem into a solution.

Goalkeeping was nothing new to Manuel Flores either. At the age of 18, he was already standing between the posts.

Years later, goalkeeping became part of his life again from a different perspective. His son Christian Flores also became a goalkeeper, going on to play in the Real Betis youth academy.

While taking him to training sessions and matches, Manuel kept coming across the same problem: goalkeeper gloves wore out much faster than the rest of the kit.

Finding models that combined quality, performance and a reasonable price was not always easy.

Instead of simply accepting it, Manuel began studying how goalkeeper gloves were made: the materials, latex, cuts, stitching, fit and every element that could affect performance.

From that search, an idea began to take shape.

What if we could make the kind of goalkeeper glove we ourselves had always wanted to find?

2009

Elitekeepers was born.

Manuel and Daniel brought together two complementary perspectives: one from someone who understood first-hand the difficulty of finding quality equipment, and another from someone who had spent years experiencing the real demands of goalkeeping. Elitekeepers was born from that combination.

What hasn't changed

We still work according to the same principles.

The brand has changed, our models have evolved and we continue developing new products. But four ideas still guide the way we work.

01

Design & technology

Every decision must make sense from the goalkeeper's perspective and in real-world use.

02

Materials

The quality of a goalkeeper glove starts with choosing the right materials.

03

Fair pricing

We want price never to be the reason a goalkeeper cannot access good equipment.

04

Close to our goalkeepers

We listen to our goalkeepers because many of the best improvements come from the people who actually use our products.

More than gloves

Goalkeeping is also about teaching, supporting and sharing.

Chuchy Heredia is the director of the Cancerber@s High-Performance Goalkeeper Academy, a project that more than 400 goalkeepers have already been part of.

But for Chuchy, goalkeeping does not end when a training session is over. His son Asier Heredia is also a goalkeeper, another example of just how deeply this position is part of his life and his family.

Together with Chuchy, we also created the Cancerber@s EK Goalkeeper Battle, one of the major events dedicated exclusively to goalkeepers, with more than 450 registered participants in its latest edition.

Training sessions, mistakes, saves, frustration, learning and unforgettable moments. All of that is part of what it means to be a goalkeeper and of the community we want to keep building around Elitekeepers.

We don't want to simply make gloves. We want to be part of the goalkeeper community.

We will continue evolving our products, materials and designs. But there is one thing we never want to lose: seeing Elitekeepers from the same place where it all began: between the posts.
